(Penang) – Enlighted’s IoT platform for commercial buildings just had its biggest breakthrough in Asia with Keysight Technologies – a generation four Hewlett Packard spinoff company with the world’s highest market share of high specification testing and verification equipment.

Alfa Tech and Enlighted will jointly retrofit Keysight’s real estate portfolio in the Asia-Pac region. The first deployment in Phase 1 is of 4000 sensors in Keysight’s Penang campus, which is the manufacturing powerhouse for their global operations. This installation will transform Keysight’s production, R&D and office blocks into a fully integrated IoT building and represent Enlighted’s biggest project in Asia.

“Being the largest IoT deployment in Asia to date, I am pleased to help lead the way for the adoption of truly smart technology by commercial buildings in the region”, said Zach Wilson, Managing Director of Alfa Tech VestAsia.

The roll out will take place in multiple phases and also cover Keysight’s facilities in China and Japan. It is estimated that the lighting power budget savings for the Penang Campus will be more than 60% for this installation. The structured analytics on space utilization and employee interaction with the built environment will usher a new era for Keysight in how they manage their real estate.

With growing footprint in Singapore and Malaysia, Enlighted’s smart sensor technology continues receiving validation in the Asian market. The need for IoT solutions to improve energy performance, space planning and physical security for commercial facilities has enabled Enlighted to serve multinational corporations and local players looking to optimize their real estate footprint in the region.
