Saravana Krishnamurthy, Project & Safety Manager at Alfa Tech, has experience in the construction industry for the past 12 years. He has held management positions in both local and foreign companies involved in large scale projects in Singapore. He started of as a WSH personnel and eventually ventured into project management. Saravana graduated from BCA Academy with a Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (2012) and Ngee Ann Polytechnics with a certificate for Fire Safety Manager (2019). He is a Registered Safety Officer (RSO) with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and Registered Fire Safety Manager (FSM) with Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF). He also oversees the development & implementation of ISO18001 and bizSAFE programs for Alfa Tech.

Some of Saravana’s recent involvements include:

  • Project Manager for turnkey design and build 10,000sf Class 100 cleanroom and 25,000sf of logistics warehouse for Ichor Systems Singapore in JTC Industrial Park in Woodlands. He was able to complete the project in mere 45 days. As challenging as it was, Saravana was able to build a good team around him comprising of in-house contractors and long-term partners to envision critical back-to-back construction sequences which was delivered in the short time-line given. These requirements included process gases, multiple voltage requirements and introduction of Enlighted sensor systems which was integrated into the existing lighting system.
  • Project Manager for turnkey design & build 10,000sf Class 100 cleanroom and 10,000sf precision machining area for Ichor Systems Malaysia in Berjaya Industrial Park at Shah Alam. Saravana was able to assemble local contractors in short notice and complete the project within the 4 months. These requirements included upgrading the existing 300kVA to 3500kVA with a new build sub-station, adding an entire mezzanine slab within an existing factory building, steel structure, process gases and dust collection system.
